Join author Victoria Dillon in conversation with Knoxville OBGYN Dr. Nikki Zite as they discuss Dillon’s work of speculative fiction. Ava explores reproductive freedom, science, motherhood, and the intersection of politics and personal autonomy.
The story is set ten years after the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and much of the novel is set at the University of Tennessee, making Knoxville-and the university community-an important part of the story.
Join us for a reading and a thoughtful discussion about how politics and science can shape people's lives. Signed copies will be available at the event.
